रेलवे अधिकारियों का कहना है कि इन नई रेल सेवाओं से न केवल राज्य के यात्रियों को राहत मिलेगी, बल्कि पर्यटन और व्यापार को भी गति मिलेगी। देहरादून और काठगोदाम से चलने वाली ट्रेनों से दिल्ली और अन्य बड़े शहरों तक यात्रियों को सीधी और तेज़ सुविधा मिलेगी।
आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस होंगी ट्रेनें
सूत्रों के अनुसार, नई शुरू की जा रही ट्रेनों में विस्टाडोम कोच, बायो टॉयलेट, और आधुनिक पैंट्री कार जैसी सुविधाएँ दी जाएंगी। इसके अलावा, कुछ ट्रेनों को “सेमी-हाई स्पीड एक्सप्रेस” मॉडल पर तैयार किया जा रहा है, ताकि यात्रा समय कम हो सके।
रेलवे बोर्ड से जल्द होगी औपचारिक घोषणा
उत्तर रेलवे के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने बताया कि नई ट्रेनों की घोषणा नवंबर के पहले सप्ताह में की जा सकती है। फिलहाल रूट अलॉटमेंट और समय-सारणी को अंतिम रूप दिया जा रहा है।
